This post has 2 purposes: identify an agent that can perform an AVID (Agent Visual Inspection Disclosure) for our firm for a transaction in the next couple weeks, $150 payment upon closing, for the AVID and delivery of keys at closing. Compensation must be delivered to your current broker (per California law). We are also searching for an agent to join our team! We have no Bakersfield agent currently. We are a growing company.

We go beyond traditional brokerage support by also functioning as a mortgage lender, providing a unique dual incentive and advantage in growing your business. We are seeking a Bakersfield Real Estate Agent to join our team. This agent will benefit from our efforts in lead generation in the Bakersfield market. We expect to have opportunities for future leads, though we cannot guarantee any particular number of leads. Our business model is to support agents, and work together with you to grow your business. Also, as our on-the-ground representative, the ideal candidate will handle a range of essential duties, ensuring our clients experience a seamless and effective transaction process.

Key Responsibilities:

Property Showings: Coordinate and conduct property showings, providing insightful and comprehensive information to potential buyers.

Agent Inspections: Perform the AVID inspection of properties, noting conditions, features, and any potential issues that should be disclosed.

Assist clients with mortgage loan requirements (only things that do not require MLO license such as gathering documents, filling out the form, etc.)

Scheduling Inspections: Arrange and oversee other necessary inspections (e.g., appraisal, home, pest, structural) to ensure all aspects of the property are thoroughly evaluated.

Research and Valuation: Conduct in-depth research on local market trends, recent sales, and comparable properties to ascertain accurate and competitive property values.

Key Management: Handle the management and distribution of keys to contractors, inspectors, and clients as required.

Contract Review: Examine contracts for local compliance and specific issues, providing insights and feedback to ensure all local issues and compliance are adhered to.

Local Resource: Act as a point of contact for local inquiries, providing insights into the community, market conditions, and local real estate regulations.

Qualifications:

Valid California Real Estate License.

Member of local association (optional, but desirable).

In-depth knowledge of the Bakersfield real estate market and local regulations.

Proven experience in real estate showings and inspections.

Strong analytical skills for market analysis and valuation.

Excellent communication skills.

Reliable transportation and the ability to travel locally as needed.

Professional demeanor and a strong ethical stance.

Spanish speaking (optional but desirable).
