Position Summary:
Bakersfield area Transmission shop is looking for qualified experienced ASE technicians. The Applicant must possess their own tools and carry a Master level certification is preferred. Specific Skill Sets Currently Available:
- Certified Transmission Technician and or Certified Auto Repair Technician Please list if both available.
Job Responsibilities and duties:
Diagnosing the cause of malfunctions and performing work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with factory standards.
Repairing or replacing all parts of a vehicle including Diagnosis of vehicle problems and recommendation of repairs needed, general auto repair, wheels, axles, frames, defective ball joint suspensions and brake shoes; installing and repairing air conditioners and servicing components such as compressors, condensers, and controls; and testing electronic computer components in automobiles to ensure that they are working properly.
Communicating directly with the service advisor in an articulate, accurate and prompt manner, so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed.
Providing an accurate estimate of time needed for additional repairs.
Inspecting and testing vehicles for damage and recording findings so that necessary repairs can be made.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year

8 Hour Shift 8am to 5pm Monday-Friday at one location in Bakersfield Westside area.
3 or more years of Experience preferred.
