Job Title: Lube Technician

Position Summary:
Borjon Auto Center, a family-owned GMC dealership proudly serving Paso Robles and the Central Coast for over 30 years, is seeking a dependable and hard-working Lube Technician to join our service department. This is a great entry-level opportunity for someone interested in building a career in the automotive industry. The Lube Technician is responsible for performing routine maintenance services to manufacturer and dealership standards while ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and vehicle care.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform oil changes, lubrication, and filter replacements on GMC and other makes
Conduct multi-point inspections and report findings to service advisors
Inspect and replenish vehicle fluids, including brake fluid, coolant, windshield washer, etc.
Rotate and inspect tires; check and adjust air pressure
Replace air filters, cabin filters, and wiper blades
Maintain a clean and safe workspace and follow all dealership safety procedures
Accurately document services performed and communicate any concerns
Assist senior technicians as needed and maintain a willingness to learn
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid California driver’s license with a clean driving record
Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in a physically active environment
Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented attitude
Basic automotive knowledge and interest in long-term growth in the field
Previous lube tech or automotive experience is a plus but not required
