Alarm/Networking Technician

Secure Systems is a locally owned alarm company based in Bakersfield, California. We take pride in installing high quality burglar and fire alarm systems as well as other low voltage products. We are currently looking for an alarm technician with networking and computer experience. At least one year experience is preferred. Candidates with fire alarm and networking experience will be compensated at a higher rate.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

- Candidate should have a high school education or equivalent.

- Experience/Knowledge in installing and repairing alarm equipment and computer networks.

- Must have written and Verbal skills with an understanding of numbers.

- Must be able to lift 50lbs. and perform heavy and technical mechanical duties.

- Good organizational skills.

- Good customer relation skills.

- Professional appearance and demeanor

- Must have clean driving record and current driver's license

- Compliance with California Alarm Company Act required.

- All applicants must pass a drug screen and physical

-Alarm Installation experience required - hard wired installation preferred

JOB DESCRIPTION

- Installation of alarm systems in new construction and existing homes and businesses

- Troubleshoot alarm systems

- Installation and troubleshooting of fire alarms, access control, camera systems and other low voltage products

-Experience with computer networking.

- Maintain truck cleanliness and organization

- Fill out work orders

Compensation:

Secure Systems offers competitive wages, excellent benefit package, 401k, Paid Time Off, paid holidays, and opportunities for training programs.

$25-$30 per hour depending on length and type of experience.
