Nicholas Construction, Inc. has been constructing water infrastructure projects in southern CA for federal, state and local municipalities since 1987 and has an excellent reputation in the industry. We specialize in earthwork, shoring, dewatering, concrete structures, traffic control, trucking, pipe installation of all sizes and types, water and wastewater treatment projects, tank sites, canal work and pumpstations.
We run a fleet of excavators, wheel loaders, water trucks, 3-axle semi-trucks, tool trucks, pickups, generators, pumps and other construction related equipment.
We need an individual that can help us diagnose, repair and maintain this fleet. We run a mixed fleet of new and old equipment that will require computer diagnosis with the help of a dealer, fluid changes, pin and bushing replacement, cutting edge and tooth replacement, air conditioning service, window replacement, battery replacment, light welding. We own and maintain a lowbed and dirt trucks that will need brake and seal changes, air leaks, brake changes, and general truck maintenance.
Applicant must pass a drug test and physical. Be in excellent physical shape. From time to time, job will require long hours in hot and cold weather. Possess a Class A or B driver license. The job will require the driving and maintenance of a 2018 Peterbilt w/ 19' ITM bed, manual transmission mechanics truck with 12,000 crane, screw compressor, welder, waste-oil system, lube system. Candidate must write, read and speak fluent English, Spanish is a plus. Simple computer and smartphone skills required.
Job will guarantee 40-hrs. per week, paying $34-$40 depending on experience. 401k, insurance and vacation.
