We’re seeking a hands-on Terminal Manager to oversee daily operations, manage our team, and keep freight moving smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee day-to-day terminal operations, including dispatch, routing, maintenance scheduling, and driver management
Ensure compliance with DOT, FMCSA, and safety regulations
Manage and mentor dispatchers, drivers, and terminal staff
Monitor fleet performance, fuel usage, and load efficiency
Coordinate with agricultural shippers and customers for timely delivery
Oversee hiring, onboarding, and training of drivers and terminal personnel
Implement and enforce safety protocols and company policies
Monitor budgets, control costs, and improve operational efficiency
Requirements:
Valid CDL Class A license (active or eligible for reactivation)
Minimum 3 years of fleet, terminal, or transportation management experience
Agriculture hauling/logistics experience preferred
Strong leadership and communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Knowledge of transportation management systems (TMS) and Microsoft Office
Strong understanding of DOT regulations and safety compliance
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience managing 50+ trucks in operations
Background in perishable/ag commodities logistics
Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
