Description A company in Burbank is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Bookkeeper/Tax Preparer. In this dual role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records for our clients and preparing their tax returns. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong accounting skills and a passion for helping others.Responsibilities:Bookkeeping:Process accounts payable and receivable.Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements.Maintain about 40+ general ledger and subsidiary ledgers.Prepare financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow statement)Communicate effectively with clients about their financial records.Tax Preparation:Prepare individual and business tax returns.Calculate and optimize tax liabilities.Stay up-to-date on current tax laws and regulations.Respond to client questions about their tax returns.Requirements Qualifications:Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.Minimum 2 years of experience in bookkeeping and tax preparationProficient in accounting software (QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel)Proficiency in data entryExcellent attention to detail and accuracyStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsEffective communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a team.Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
