Catia DesignerJob DescriptionWe seek a knowledgeable Catia Designer proficient in Catia V5 to meet our design needs. The ideal candidate will be skilled in all facets of 3D modeling in Catia V5, including sketch-based solids and geometric surfacing. Responsibilities include creating complex and simple detail, sub-assembly, and top assembly drawings, writing engineering orders, and making changes to existing drawings. The candidate will also create assemblies and drawings for test procedures, be knowledgeable in ACS (aircraft coordinate systems), and design components using ACS or local coordinates. Knowledge of Catia FTA workbench, MBD (Model Based Definition), and its applications in the aerospace engineering environment and documentation is required. The role involves performing weight calculations, design checks of models and drawings created by other drafters, and understanding GD&T practices per ANSI standards. Additionally, the candidate should have manufacturing knowledge in the machining of metallic components and sheet metal forming, and experience with PLM software (Enovia) and configuration management practices is preferred. Tolerance stack-ups and interference checks will also be performed as needed.Hard Skills
