TITLE: Senior Site Reliability Engineer

Location: Hybrid, Orlando

Compensation Range :
$70.00 - $80.00/hr

Our client, a worldwide media & entertainment brand is looking for a seasoned backend/full stack development engineer to develop and deliver emerging technology projects.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 2-4+ yrs experience in enterprise level Cloud design & Procurement
• Hands on experience in designing and developing complex digital systems and Applications
• Java/J2EE, JavaScript, Node JS, Python development skills, with a proven record of creating commercial quality software solutions
• Experience with microservices and modern architecture in AWS and cloud systems is a must
• Experience using Linux and Unix based OS
• Thorough understanding and experience in Object Oriented Programming, relational/ non-relational databases and enterprise system architecture
• Experience in working with Open-Source code and frameworks a must. Knowledge of industry standard project execution methodologies like Agile/SCRUM, Waterfall, RUP and Iterative a must
• AngularJS and Node.js experience to be able to utilize a subscribed User Interface Reference Architecture
• Strong knowledge of unit testing, behavioral testing and continuous integration
• Strong application performance / tuning and CI/CD skills
• Demonstrated understanding of the importance of maintainable / sustainable product solutions
• General knowledge developing mobile applications that interface with RESTful services including Web services
• Strong technical knowledge of digital environment including, Natural Language Processing, Mobile, Web, IoT, Apps, APIs, Messaging, Databases, Big Data, Networks and their Interactions is needed.
• Passion for learning new things but tempering it with adding value to the company
• Strong AWS experience
• Design experience in an enterprise environment
• Experience in a system engineer/devops role
• Experience/Familiarity with some technologies used by our teams: Ansible, Terreform, Kubernetes
• You should have a general understanding of how the internet works
• Experience with architecting highly scalable and highly available systems
• Excellent communication and relationship skills, especially the ability to articulate advanced technical topics to both technical and non-technical staff; ability to articulate business issues/concerns with staff, peers, superiors, and outside partie
• Strong presentation skills
• Demonstrates expertise in research, often going outside of their area of individual experience
• Deep technical experience in consumer and employee facing enterprise systems
• Exposure to architecture, application systems design and integration in a large heterogeneous enterprise environment with hands on experience in
• REST, SOA, Java/J2EE, XML
• Exposure to infrastructure and platform capabilities - container, middleware, messaging, routing components
• Experience with cloud development and migration
• Desire and ability to adapt to an ever-changing technology landscape by exploring new languages and techniques for software delivery
• Demonstrable analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to contribute to, and balance delivery against, multiple projects/demands simultaneously
