The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the storage, distribution, and tracking of materials within our organization.Responsibilities

Manage inventory levels, including ordering, receiving, inspecting, and storing materials.

Coordinate with various departments to fulfill material requests and ensure timely delivery.

Maintain accurate records of inventory and transactions using designated software or systems.

Implement inventory control procedures to minimize waste and optimize efficiency.

Collaborate with vendors to ensure quality standards are met and negotiate favorable terms.

Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.

Train and supervise junior staff members as needed.

Qualifications

Meets minimum competencies of Materials Management Tech I

Three to six months of inventory management experience.

An understanding of large ERP systems.

Valid CA state driver license.

High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Please be advised that this location requires quarterly American Heart Association (AHA) Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification post-hire. This ongoing competency is required through resources internal to the facility; outside RQI competency resources are not acceptable for CommonSpirit Health compliance requirements.

Preferred

Six to twelve months related work experience in a hospital stockroom or warehouse. preferred.

Forklift operation certification and/or experience, preferred.

This position is represented by SEIU-UHW and is covered by the terms and conditions of the applicable collective bargaining agreement.Pay Range$22.90 - $28.78 /hourWe are an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
