Job DescriptionThe Training and Education Analyst reports to and receives work direction derivatives from the Task Order Lead. The Training and Education Analyst will perform the following duties:Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesProvide recommendations on effectiveness and improvements for force readiness, and I MEF and USMC training and education programs in support of global operations and deployments.

Conduct capability and training gap analysis, analyzing the readiness implications of identified gaps, and providing recommendations for addressing identified gaps.

Conduct training and education research and analysis, providing recommendations in accordance with TECOM Guidance which improves force readiness.

Analyze formal school curriculum gaps, providing recommendations for formal school course expansion, development, and enhancement.

Conduct detailed and ongoing analysis of training and education requirements, to include studies of Marine Corps orders, policies, training/education guidance, and training/education related directives.

QualificationsRequired Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesStrong communications and presentation skills.

Have a working knowledge of the Marine Corps and Joint Planning Process.

Able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent organizational, planning and prioritization skills

Proficient in computer applications such as Windows and MS Office

Expected to perform independently and exercise good judgment.

EducationSix + years of experience and a BA/BS is required, MA/MS degree preferred.

Attended Professional Military Education appropriate to rank at time of separation or retirement from the uniformed service.

ExperienceExperience on a 2 Star or 3 Star staff is desired.

Additional InformationRequired to sit for extended periods of time and maintain focus

Must have a valid driver’s license, current automobile insurance, and a driving record that is acceptable to the company’s auto insurance provider

Ability to obtain or have a security clearance.

15-25% travel expected.

Position expected to begin on or about 22 Jan 2021.
