Job DescriptionThe Genetic Sciences Division is a $2B+ annual revenue business with 5,000+ colleagues across the world. The majority of GSD customers are represented in pharma and biotech, as well as academic and government-funded institutions.This dynamic Sr. Financial Analyst will lead key financial planning and analysis activities for the qPCR/GTS FP&A Management Reporting team. The role will report to the Sr. Director of Finance, working together to provide support to business unit leadership.This is a high visibility role within the company, allowing you tremendous opportunity for learning and long-term career growth. We continue to focus on operational improvement and automation and are looking for an addition that will help us continue to drive the Finance function forward.Key Responsibilities:

Partner closely with divisional leadership to drive process excellence in our key reporting mechanisms of QBR/MBR, AOP/STRAP, and the division's monthly close & forecast process

Support key reporting metrics, such as: P&L, MCF, Capital Expenditures, FX, Headcount

Identify and solve for gaps in processes as well as implementation and oversight of appropriate systems, control/process standards to drive continue improvement

Champion other ad-hoc projects and initiatives, as assigned or as self-identified areas for improvement and development

How will you get here?

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Science, or, Economics

5-7 years of strong analytical experience in financial planning and business analysis

Prior experience in a large global company and highly matrixed organization

Proficient at understanding and proactively communicating the financial implications of business decisions and dynamics

Compensation and BenefitsThe salary range estimated for this position based in California is $103,100.00–$154,700.00.This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
