Focus on IT security and compliance processes and initiatives, acting as the central point of contact and collaborating with other departments within the company in these matters.
Creates and maintains policies, standards and guidelines needed to support information security compliance throughout the IT organization.
Periodically reviews controls and policies and makes recommendations for improvements.
Works with other teams within the organization to identify current and future internal and external security vulnerabilities and implements the best ways to mitigate and reduce risk.
Perform manual testing to supplement results of automated scanning and testing tools.
Assists and directs the remediation of issues found through self and independent assessments.
Ensures adequate and effective IT security controls exist to meet current and future security compliance requirements found in-laws and regulations such as the PCI-DSS standard and HIPAA.
Develop best practices and security standards for the organization.
Supports internal and external audit activities and remediation requirements.
Identifies and implements tools and architectures to better secure the business data and information systems.
Maintains, upgrades, and supports existing systems, networks and infrastructure to ensure operational stability.
Provide Network support and troubleshooting
What You Need for this Position:
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or equivalent combination of education and experience.
4+ Years of combined IT and security work experience with a broad range of exposure to systems and network implementation and administration
