We’re looking for a Director, Sales Development to lead the development and refinement of Procore’s inbound and outbound North American prospecting strategy. In this role, you’ll partner closely with Marketing, Sales leadership, Enablement, and Customer Experience to drive opportunities to increase revenue and exceed targets.As a Director, Sales Development, you’ll use your strategic leadership, prospecting, and pipeline management skills to mentor your team, implement successful sales programs, and collaborate across departments to meet revenue goals. You’ll have the chance to shape Procore’s sales development approach while fostering a positive and high-performing team environment.This position reports to the Senior Director, Sales Development and will be based in our Carpinteria, CA, Austin, TX, or Tampa, FL office. We’re looking for someone to join us immediately.What you’ll do:Establish a framework for pipeline management (expectations, processes, reporting/KPIs) to exceed sales targetsCreate and communicate weekly pipeline forecast to Sales Development Representatives (SDR) and leadershipParticipate in regional quarterly business reviews with cross-functional leadersPartner closely with Sales leadership to implement and lead programs to drive opportunities and revenueCollaborate with Marketing and channel partners to implement strategic initiatives, establish lead flow expectations, uncover prospecting opportunities, and develop campaigns to hit revenue targetsProvide your team with mentorship and learning and development opportunities including training, coaching, and role playing to support professional growthPromote an engaged, energetic, and inclusive environment that encourages high productivity while maintaining a positive work experienceOversee front line SDR managersWhat we’re looking for:Bachelor’s degree and/or relevant work experience7+ years of experience in software sales, preferably in a SaaS environment3+ years of management experience in a business development environmentProven success in hiring, developing, and promoting Sales Development representativesDemonstrated ability to achieve 100%+ of quota as an individual contributorStrong prospecting skills through cold calling, email, and social sellingExperience using and implementing sales methodologies, including MEDDPICCExcellent interpersonal, time management, and communication skills, with a commitment to exceptional customer experiences
