We invite you to come and make a real difference and grow your career with the global leader in skincare.DERMALOGICA is seeking an exceptional Head of E-CommerceAs the Head of E-Commerce at Dermalogica, you will lead the development and execution of strategies to transform and expand our US Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) presence. Your focus will be on driving revenue through performance marketing and supporting website operations and merchandising. This role requires a proactive, data-driven individual who excels in digital marketing, customer acquisition, and retention, with strong analytical and collaboration skills. Key responsibilities include managing the annual e-commerce roadmap, encompassing marketing strategies and customer lifecycle management, while providing insights into global e-commerce and contributing to the broader company strategy.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Lead and inspire a dynamic team of 13 professionals dedicated to driving business growth and achieving strategic objectives.

Act as the primary advocate to the leadership team, providing high-level updates on our achievements and addressing any challenges we face.

Leveraging data to inform strategic decisions. This involves collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement across various business functions.

Ensures that the analytical approach aligns with the organization's overall goals and objectives. This includes setting clear KPIs, developing predictive models, and using insights to guide marketing, operations, and customer engagement strategies.

Oversee P&L responsibilities, leveraging analytical skills to drive growth through different growth marketing models and tools (incremental, mmm, multi-touch attribution). Your role will focus on balancing growth initiatives with profitability targets to ensure sustainable success.

Foster collaboration across different teams to facilitate seamless communication and coordination between marketing, operations, and ecommerce departments. By breaking down silos, ensure that teams work together effectively from top-of-funnel activities, such as driving brand awareness, to bottom-of-funnel efforts focused on customer retention. This holistic approach aims to optimize performance, improve operational efficiency, and enhance customer retention strategies throughout the entire funnel.

Collaborate effectively with global, finance, customer service, and operations teams to ensure alignment and drive success. This involves coordinating efforts, sharing insights, and leveraging each team's expertise to achieve common goals and enhance overall performance.

Encourage adaptability by fostering an agile mindset, enabling the team to quickly respond to changes and challenges.

Support the team in making informed tactical decisions by providing clear guidance and access to relevant data and insights.

Promote decisiveness by empowering team members to take ownership of their actions and make confident choices, ensuring swift execution and progress.

By fostering a culture of data literacy and encouraging cross-functional collaboration, you will enhance the organization's ability to make informed, strategic decisions that drive growth and efficiency.

As the leader of Dermalogica's largest Direct-to-Consumer business globally, and a key player within the Unilever Prestige DTC portfolio, your role will involve sharing processes, successes, and challenges to drive growth.

Education and/or Experience:

BA or BS degree preferred with 10+ years- experience in leading as an e-commerce generalist, performance marketing, and retention; operation is a plus.

Proficiency in understanding of backend technologies and the technology stack used within the Shopify platform.

Extensive experience in e-commerce management, with a proven track record of driving online sales growth.

Strong understanding of digital marketing strategies, including SEO, SEM, email marketing, and social media.

Experience in leading and managing cross-functional teams, including marketing, IT, and customer service.

Ability to analyze data and metrics to inform decision-making and optimize e-commerce performance.

Experience in developing and executing e-commerce strategies that align with overall business goals.

Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.

Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and inspire teams.

Knowledge of global e-commerce trends and best practices.

Experience in budget management and financial planning for e-commerce operations.

The expected annual base salary for this role is $175,000-$225,000. The exact base salary is determined by various factors including experience, skills, education, and budget.
