Overview: Seeking a skilled and experienced Accounting Manager to lead all aspects of business financial management!
Duties and responsibilities:
Oversee all financial operations including general ledger management
Budgeting, Cash flow, AP/AR and Collections
Profit sharing, Insurance and Regulatory Reporting
Annual/biennial reporting including business licenses, regulatory permits, and certifications
Tax Compliance/filings. Current with tax laws and ensure compliance at all times
Payroll Administration and certified payroll reporting
Manage assets, including vehicles and equipment, general ledger tracking, registrations, inspections, and permits
Qualifications and Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Proven experience leading and managing accounting teams
Meticulous attention to detail
Strong organizational skills
Ability to handle competing demands in a fast-paced environment
Skills:
Familiarity with construction-specific accounting software Computer Ease is a plus.
Strong understanding of financial principles and regulations.
Advanced proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Preferred Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or at least 5 years of equivalent experience
Finance role in construction industry is a plus
Schedule: Monday to Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm
