We are a family owned, busy and growing construction company seeking a new addition to our office administrative clerk team.
RESPONSIBILITIES may include but not limited to:
-Accounting: AR/AP: prepare and submit project billings, with required releases, enter supplier and invoices follow up on outstanding and past due A/R.
-Payroll/Certified Payroll: Periodically perform all aspects of weekly payroll, including entering time sheets, print payroll checks, submit ACH, payroll tax deposits, wage garnishments, compliance with all Davis/Bacon filings DAS-140, DAS- 142, Certified Payroll Submission and Fringe Benefit Statements.
-Contract Administration: paperless maintenance of project related records, including contracts, change orders, billing, purchase orders and preliminary notices.
REQUIRED SKILLS/ PROGRAM KNOWLEDGE:
-2-3 years of experience in construction accounting
-Detail oriented
-Excellent verbal, written and phone skills
- High proficiency level with Excel and Microsoft Word
-***MUST have Experience with SAGE and QuickBooks accounting software***
- Positive, proactive attitude with completing daily tasks for office and welcoming guests
