Olivarez Honey Bees, Inc. is currently seeking a Shipping Assistant Manager to support inventory control and shipping processes of our Queen Bees.
Job Accountabilities Include:
Support Queen inventory through OHB devised Inventory Control systems and report to management on activities and issues.
Assist with the flow of packages from preparation to shipment, ensuring accuracy and quality through inspecting labels, barcodes and quality of completed orders.
Check all important documents such as shipping notices, pick slips and special instructions and ensure proper documentation and handling of international orders.
Support Shipping Manager in establishing inventory of goods needed to efficiently run the shipping department and tracking purchases of packaging inventory.
Work with Shipping Manager in collaborating with Queen Production Manager, Sales Manager and other managers to optimize inventory and shipping processes and resolve issues regarding shipped orders.
Job Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years shipping experience
Prior experience managing inventory strongly preferred
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize competing tasks and demands in a change-oriented organization.
Excellent time management and organizational skills with a strong attention to detail.
Valid California Drivers License that is Insurable.
