Camina Bakery is hiring for an early morning pastry baker. Baking experience is preferred, though this position includes the opportunity for on-the-job training in pastry baking and other aspects of pastry production. Most of our pastry program is based on laminated croissant dough, which we make from scratch. We are a small company, and we strive to create a positive work environment centered around respect, teamwork, and enthusiasm for food and high-quality products.
Duties of this position include:
Baking and finishing pastries.
Maintaining our sourdough starter.
Dishwashing and maintaining a clean work environment.
Assisting with general bakery organization.
The required shifts are:
Wednesday: 3:00 AM - 11:30 AM
Saturday: 2:00 AM - 9:30 AM
Sunday: 3:00 PM - 8:00 PM
We are looking for a candidate who:
Possesses prior experience in pastry baking.
Is reliable and punctual, particularly for early morning shifts.
Demonstrates attention to detail and a commitment to product quality.
Can work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Is capable of performing physical tasks, including prolonged standing and lifting.
Is dedicated to pursuing a long-term career in the baking industry.
