Community Living Options is a 24/7 business (including weekends and holidays) partnered with Butte County IHSS. This means you’ll receive wages from both CLO, and IHSS. Our staff work directly in a client’s home, not in a big facility. There is a maximum of three clients in a residence.
Wages start at $14.00 per hour. We pay all onboarding fees, including LiveScan, TB test, and post offer basic physical. We also pay you to train! We provide CPR, First Aid, Medication Administration, & Continuing Education classes.
Caregiver Requirements:
1. be 18+ years old
2. pass a fingerprint criminal background check (we pay the fee)
3. have reliable transportation
4. be a dependable, friendly, compassionate person!
Available shifts are:
· 4:00pm to 12:00am
· 12:00am to 8:00am
· 8:00am to 4:00pm (very limited availability)
Must be available for ONE shift on Saturday or Sunday

Here is what a typical day includes:
Getting your client ready for the day (helping them get dressed, making a nutritious breakfast, administering medications),
Keeping the home clean and safe (basic housework and laundry),
Getting out of the house with the client while maintaining social distancing (walks around the block, zoom parties with family/friends, board games, movies at home, and much more)!
Preparing your client for the evening (cooking a healthy dinner, bathing, administering medications)
