Description:
We are looking for a compassionate and reliable individual to clean for an elderly Vietnam veteran who is currently battling cancer. The ideal candidate will have a kind demeanor and be patient, as our veteran is facing health challenges and needs a bit of extra support in the mornings.
I am the full time caretaker at the moment but am in need of a break. I will be going out of town for a week or so as soon as I can fill this position. During that week more hours might be needed. The cleaning is light, mostly dishes. We all chip in on meals and would like to count on you for 1-2 meals per week.
Responsibilities:
Ensure that dishes and the kitchen are cleaned
. Occasionally vacuum the. Living room
Provide some friendly conversation if desired.
Requirements:
Experience with elderly care preferred but not required.
Must be dependable and punctual.
Ability to maintain a clean and organized kitchen.
Understanding and respect for veterans.
Schedule:
Mornings, approximately 1-2 hours per day.
Location:
West Chico, near Siphos Restaurant
