Position open for full time IHSS provider in Chico CA.
First day would be April 1st. Hours are 11pm to 730am Monday through Friday. Pay rate here is $16.50
Hi, my name is Lauren I am 45 years old with muscular dystrophy and use a power chair full time. This is a night position so I would be in bed already when you get here. You would be responsible for staying up with me until I go to sleep, I usually watch tv. I’m open to you sleeping while I sleep as long as you can wake up when I call you. You will be dispensing medication, assisting with hygiene, helping me eat, and generally keeping me comfortable. There’s also shared housework with my other 5 caregivers that works throughout the day as I have 24 hour care. You would also be responsible for helping to fill in from time to time on other shifts if someone is sick if possible.
