INTRODUCTION:
Hello my name is Jesse and I am a quadriplegic who broke my neck when I was 10, I am looking for part-time caregiver for my MORNING, EVENING, and NIGHT SHIFTS on the WEEKENDS. I am 38 years old, friendly, very involved with my care, and get along extremely well with others and I live in Chico near Nord and East Avenue in a house.
TASKS:
I need help dressing, showering, going to the bathroom (bowel program and empty catheter), transferring into a wheelchair/shower chair, cleaning, cooking meals, household chores, and driving to shopping, appointments, and wheelchair soccer practices (I have my own accessible van.) You must be strong enough to move me into correct positions. Needing help on weekend trips to wheelchair soccer game is also needed.
TIMES:
The shifts I need covered are FRIDAY, SATURDAY, and SUNDAY and include the following times and activities which are flexible:
Morning - (9am-12pm) Bathroom, showering, Cooking, dressing, errands and light cleaning.
Dinner - (4pm-6pm) Cooking, cleaning, and helping me eat.
Night shifts- (10pm-12am) Transfering to bed, bathroom,
REQUIREMENTS, NO EXCEPTIONS
No experience necessary but you must have:
Must be Covid-19 responsible (priority will be given to those who are vaccinated!)
A clean background
Have a driver's license/insurance
Have a cell phone
Have reliable transportation to/from work
Must be 420 friendly (medical marijuana)
Be reliable and on time!
Finally, and most important, all applicants must sign up for and register with "In Home Support Services" (IHSS).
PAYMENT:
Wages are determined by the county and IHSS and currently pay $16.50 per hour, however I will be supplementing that income and the hourly pay will be $33 per hour.
