Environmental Technician – Northern CA

Trihydro, one of the top environmental and engineering consulting firms in the country, has an opening for an Environmental Technician. The Technician will assist with providing Trihydro’s clients and customers with effective, responsive, and safe solutions. We are looking for a stormwater and/or environmental technician with 1 – 5 years of experience and training in the implementation of stormwater management and related environmental projects for sites across Northern California. The position will operate at sites across Northern and Central California including the North Coast, Bay Area, Central Valley, and Sierras (clean driving record required). This position may be remote or based out of either our Arcata or Roseville offices. You will work as part of a team to ensure surface water bodies such as streams, rivers and the environment are not polluted. Duties include field work conducting inspections, installing and maintaining pollution prevention measures and supervising construction subcontractors. Safety training (e.g., OSHA) and stormwater experience is desirable.

The preferred candidates will be based in the Northern California area.

Our team is looking for someone who has:

Strong problem-solving skills, including attention to detail and accuracy, as well as a commitment to producing high-quality deliverables

1-5 years of experience in a similar or related field

A clean driving record

Previous environmental consulting experience is a plus

Ability to work in remote areas

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

The compensation information shown below is a general guideline ONLY. Compensation packages are based on candidates' experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $20-$30 per hour.
