We are looking for self-starters to work on our small farm located in Vina, California just 20 minutes north of Chico. Both permanent and short term opportunities available.

About us
We grow sustainable food with organic practices on a 15 acre vintage farm in Vina, California. Our heirlooms and old world varieties are a main attraction at 3 farmer's markets, including the vibrant and highly rated downtown Saturday Chico Farmers Market and the downtown Sunday Sacramento Farmers Market. We also provide produce to natural foods stores and restaurants in Northern California.
Requirements / Who we're looking for
Hardworking and respectful people with an interest in growing food.
The ability to be FAST AND EFFICIENT IS A MUST.
Must be able to perform field work out in the elements.
Ability to lift 50 pounds or 25 pounds twice as fast.
Must have reliable transportation to Vina area.
Daily responsibilities
Varies depending on season and day of the week.
WEEDING is a daily must (approx 1 hour per day). We do not use sprays and so rely on a regular amount of weeding each day to stay on top of the weeds.
Other tasks include: harvesting, commercial store/restaurant sorting, boxing and delivering, seeding, planting, farm cleanup, plant care, irrigating, building, and farmer's markets.
