Position Summary
This position is responsible for accurately picking products from inventory, carefully packing items to prevent damage during transit, and promptly shipping online sales orders in accordance with company standards and customer expectations. The Fulfillment Specialist must maintain a high level of attention to detail, follow established procedures, and contribute to a fast-paced, team-oriented environment to ensure timely and accurate order delivery.
Essential Functions
Pick customer orders efficiently using wireless handheld devices
Operate workstations supporting multiple inventory management systems
Stack and replenish inbound shipments
Perform quality checks on all inbound items
Verify product details and inspect goods for accuracy before receipt or shipment
Review quality descriptions of merchandise to ensure compliance with standards
Load, unload, move, and securely pack or wrap materials for storage or shipment
Safely transfer materials onto and off pallets, skids, and transport vehicles
Ensure all transported materials are properly secured
Move products to designated areas safely and efficiently
Confirm all materials and products are stacked and stored correctly
Operate material handling equipment safely, including hand pallet jacks, motorized forklifts, and corrugate shredders.
Conduct regular maintenance and safety checks on forklifts and related equipment
Knowledge & Skills
Ability to read and understand company policies and procedures and implement appropriately.
Assist in problem solving and in making this a more effective organization.
Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills including reading, writing in the English language.
Must be proficient in basic math.
Manage details of multiple projects in an efficient and organized method.
Produce work in a timely, budgeted, scheduled and profitable manner for the Company.
Must be proficient with Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
Must be able to work under a timeline and meet that timeline
Must be able to troubleshoot and perform critical thinking on the job
Ability to keep focus under stressful situations
Must apply human safety procedures and principles daily and protect self and others from injury.
Communicate a positive image of the company to fellow staff members, customers, and the public.
