We are seeking a hardworking Preventative Maintenance Mechanic - Apprentice to join a successful company in Biggs, CA!
The Preventative Maintenance Mechanic - Apprentice will perform routine preventive maintenance on a variety of industrial mechanical equipment.
Compensation: $18-$20/hr
Job Requirements:
Use equipment manuals as reference material for necessary service inspections and troubleshooting instructions.
Visually inspect and listen to machines and equipment to locate causes of potential malfunctions.
Perform preventative maintenance on equipment to prevent possible mechanical failure.
Change worn out machine parts before they can cause mechanical damage.
Dismantle machines and equipment to gain access to problem area, using hand tools and power tools.
Inspect and measure parts to detect wear, misalignment, or other problems.
Remove and replace working or defective parts using hand tools and power tools and following blueprints, diagrams, and service manuals
Job Qualifications:
Have high school diploma or equivalent
Have reliable transportation to Biggs CA
Have valid driver's license
Must have proficiency in fabrication & welding
2+ years of experience in industrial & mechanical maintenance
