Our growing Pest Control Business is looking for a skilled Repair Technician to join our team. This position primarily focuses on repairs for our Termite Inspection clearances. This means that you need to have an understanding of carpentry and construction. We also expect you to be able to read a report and follow its instruction on how to make the necessary repairs to bring the building up to standard for clearance. All of which, we will train you on.
This typically includes remove and repair wood work, painting, caulking, and other similar tasks. You must have experience in wood repair/carpentry. A current Branch 3 or an Applicator's License is recommended but not required (it would lead you into a higher starting wage though if you have one of those licenses).
Job Performance includes:
- Working with tools (hammer, saw, power tools, drills, etc.)
- Strong Customer Service & Communication Skills
- Repair / replace damaged wood & dry rotted wood on residential and commercial structures. (i.e. Fascia boards, ship lap, rafter tails, sheathing, eaves, patios)
- Measure, cut or shape wood and other materials
- Crawl in tight spaces such as Attic & Subareas
- Safely operate & maintain construction hand tools and company equipment
- Ability to safely climb on ladders & lift heavy objects
- Replace wood described on a diagram
- Maintains truck and equipment on service call time
- Clears truck daily of lumber, materials, etc.
- Turn in all paperwork daily with notes if necessary
- Driving a company vehicle to clients home or business
- Completion of required documents and forms at end of daily route
- Keep vehicle and equipment in clean and proper condition
- Complete other assigned duties
Qualifications:
- Experience in structure repairs
- Previous experience in customer service, or other related fields
- Strong written and communication skills
- Able to crawl under a house, inside an attic and work on feet for long periods of time
- High School Diploma preferred but not required
- Demonstrate a safe driving record from the DMV
- Pass a background check
- Valid California Drivers License
- Clean driving record to ensure you are insurable (No DUIs)

Salary: $19.00 - $26.00 per hour
