We are hiring for two or three days a week, could be a full time job but would require working on the weekend. It is a permanent, year-round job.
Need to be fit and able to work all day in the heat of summer or nasty wet, cold of winter.
NOT a "cash" job. On payroll with taxes and Worker's Compensation Insurance.
We do not provide housing.
Duties: feeding, cleaning &sweeping; bedding stalls; caring for misc. livestock (chickens and sheep).
Must be able to work around livestock quietly and safely.
Must be a person who can work without constant supervision, after being trained.
Must be fit and strong enough to load hay from stack to the feed cart.
Must be kind, polite and helpful to my horse boarding clients.
Need someone who is "easy" on my equipment - no bumper car competitors, no Nascar wannabes please!
The horses don't lie and the trainers and owners know when the job is not done.
We have forty+ horses in stalls, 6 in a mare motel and 60 to feed.
We are mechanized, no pushing carts, Kubota RTVs and electric cart with hydraulic dump and a good electric feed cart.
Need someone who will work hard.

Must have a current California Driver's License and reliable transportation.

We perform a security screening with Hire Right.
Our ranch is a high end facility - demanding clients, expensive horses.
Do a good job and hourly rate will increase.
