A busy Northern California law firm is seeking a California-licensed contract attorney to assist with civil litigation matters. This is a remote position, but candidates must be licensed in California and have at least 3 years of experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Draft and respond to discovery
Prepare pleadings, motions, and legal correspondence
Conduct legal research and draft memoranda
Manage case files and track deadlines
Appear at hearings via CourtCall
Limited communication with clients and opposing counsel
Qualifications:
California bar license (active & in good standing)
3+ years of civil litigation experience
Strong legal writing skills and attention to detail
Experience with discovery, pleadings, motions, and case management
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
We are also open to solo practitioners looking to join our practice in a contract capacity.
