Are you a dynamic leader with a passion for managing diverse operations? Travis E. Stroud, attorney at law, is seeking a versatile individual to take on the role of Integrated Manager for his law firm, farm, and business operations. Spanish speaking and formal education are certainly desired, but it is not the end all. If you don't speak Spanish, we will just have to solve the Spanish speaking problem. If you don't have a formal education, you just need to prove to Travis you can meet his expectations and manage.
Salary: $23 - $25 full time, in office. Travis is very flexible when it comes to work schedule. Think about it, you are managing so you will oversee time utilization. If you want part time and can meet your responsibilities in that time Travis is ok with that.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage day-to-day operations of the law firm, one major component of your job will be to make sure Travis has time to practice the law. The more billables that he (and you) can put in the more we all make. You will be managing the law firm; billing, (if you are not billing, we starve) scheduling appointments, checking emails, answering phones, writing letters, writing court documents and filing them, website and social media presence, keeping track of deadlines, and dates, making sure the files are in order, and making sure Travis has everything he needs for appointments and or court, keeping track and paying bills. YOU MUST KEEP TRACK OF YOUR TIME. NO EXCUSES.
2. Promoting the Farm: You will be required to help Travis get his vegetables and eggs in stores or to customers. Whatever that looks like, if it means starting a stand at farmer's market, talking to restaurants, or walking right into a store and looking someone in the eye and shaking their hand, internet presence, whatever.
3. Real Property: You will help manage a small group of rental properties and an Airbnb
4 Team Leadership: Lead and motivate Travis and other employee or contractors to work in one accord.
5. Resource Management: Optimize resource allocation, including finances, personnel, and equipment, to maximize productivity and profitability. You must be either making Travis money or saving Travis money.
6. Strategic Planning: While you are managing you will develop and implement strategic plans to drive growth and sustainability in each sector, identifying opportunities for synergies and innovation.
7. Risk Management: Identify potential risks and implement measures to mitigate them, ensuring the safety and security of all operations.
8. Continuous Improvement Along with Ideas. IDEAS ARE VALUED, they are not just valued they are required. An idea without action is useless, you will be required to bring your ideas, listen to other's ideas and to put them into action.
9. Protection. Are you my brother's keeper? You must be on Travis' team and watch out for him, selfishness is not tolerated, selflessness will get you the job. Travis will do the same for you. We will be a team. Right?
Qualifications:
Education: Like speaking Spanish, a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration give you a little boost, but it is not the end all. Nevertheless, some prior experience in management is desired.
Proven experience in managing diverse operations, ideally in a legal, agricultural, or business setting.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and empower teams to achieve excellence.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Strategic thinker with a track record of driving growth and innovation.
Sound judgment and decision-making abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
Flexibility and adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
