Located in North Chico, MTECH Incorporated is actively looking for an immediate hire to support our growing production team. This position will be focused on metal welding and general fabrication, primarily with steel, however experience with aluminum and stainless tubing is required. The best candidate for this position is a self-starter, willing to learn, able to work without direct supervision and is able to not only read blue prints and execute with minimal support, be able to "just make a bracket" efficiently and with the quality.
Minimum requirements include 1 year each steel and aluminum welding in a manufacturing environment outside of school. Basic understanding of standard hand and power tools including wrenches, screwdrivers, cordless hand drills, stationary sanding and cutting equipment; ability to work productively with other employees and a high school diploma or equivalent. Welding test will be administered.
