Located in North Chico, MTECH Incorporated is actively looking for an immediate hire to support our growing production team. This position will be focused on Aluminum and Stainless Steel TIG welding and general fabrication, however experience with mild steel is also required. The best candidate for this position is a self-starter, willing to learn, able to work without direct supervision and is able to not only read blueprints and execute with minimal support, be able to "just make a bracket" efficiently and with the quality.
Minimum requirements include 1 year each steel and aluminum welding in a manufacturing environment outside of school. Basic understanding of standard hand and power tools including wrenches, screwdrivers, cordless hand drills, Mill and Lathe, stationary sanding and cutting equipment; ability to work productively with other employees and a high school diploma or equivalent. Welding tests will be administered. Please bring your hood and equipment .
