Sierra Nevada Cheese is currently seeking a Production Manager to join our team in Willows, CA.

About the Role:
As the Production Manager, you will lead all activities within our manufacturing/production department at our Willows facility. This role requires strong leadership skills to motivate our culturally and linguistically diverse team, ensuring quality performance and fostering a collaborative environment. We expect our leader to serve as a positive role model, inspiring others through their actions.
Responsibilities:
Manage and develop the production team, setting productivity goals and ensuring effective communication.
Collaborate with employees to plan production schedules and maintain a regular presence on the plant floor.
Develop and implement workflow policies and procedures to improve efficiency without compromising safety or
quality.
Close cooperation with Quality Assurance to uphold product quality standards.
Facilitate cross-functional communication to address operational issues.
Coordinate operational and safety training sessions for employees.
Drive employee development through effective hiring, training, and communication.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including GMP, OSHA, FDA, HACCP, and SQF.
Other duties may be assigned based on department and business needs.
Our Ideal Candidate:
Education and Experience
Minimum 5 years of experience as Production Manager
Knowledge of the GMP policy is preferable
Experience within the consumer products, food and beverage industries preferred
High School Diploma or GED
Bilingual in English is a requirement. Basic level Spanish is preferred.
