Our company is currently seeking a Tax Office Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate for this position is personable and able to use their interpersonal skills to build relationships, greet clients, and direct them efficiently.
Receptionists at our company serve as the first point of contact for new, potential, or regular clients. They are responsible for answering phones, greeting clients and vendors, and dealing with general reception issues.
A successful candidate will be highly organized, friendly, courteous, able to stay calm under pressure, and have an attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
Answer phones.
Greet people in a timely manner.
Take messages or transfer calls to appropriate people.
Schedule appointments.
Answer questions or refer to the appropriate person.
Provide visitors with directions and office locations.
Ship and receive packages and open and distribute mail.
Provide administrative support as needed.
Assist in maintaining a clean and inviting workplace.
Proficient in basic computer and office skills.
Scan and file documents.
Cash handling and running credit cards.
Job Type: Full-time, Temp
Pay: DOE
Schedule:
8 hour shift Monday through Friday
Overtime may be necessary when the office is open for extended hours.
Education:
High school or equivalent
Experience:
Customer service: 2 years (Preferred)
Front desk: 2 years (Preferred)
Accounting or Tax Office: 1 year (Preferred)
Work Location: One location
This is a seasonal opportunity from February through April.
