OVERVIEW:
The Warehouse Evening Crew is responsible for using forklifts in a warehouse environment assuring that product is getting pulled for customer orders. This is a Full-time position working 40+ hours per week. (Sunday-Thursday) with Friday and Saturdays off. The shift begins @ 12:30 p.m.- 10pm. These hours can be extended during busy times.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be 18+ years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Able to read, write and communicate effectively, as it relates to the job and to the safety regulations
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule which may include weekends, holidays, and overtime.
- Must be able to routinely lift and move 1 to 75 pound cases.
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
- Previous warehouse and forklift experience is preferred but not required.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Properly pull customer orders and put on pallet following correct procedures within various warehouse environments of fluctuating temperatures, including Dry, Cooler, and Freezer
- Frequently lift product that weighs 1-75 pounds; while having to reach up and down to stock items properly, and constantly bend and twist while operating a pallet jack and/or forklift
- Operate electric pallet jacks and forklifts to transport product to specific location
- Maintain and safely operate all assigned equipment, including but not limited to pallet jack and personal protective equipment
- Unload and properly receive accurate amount of product
- Follow The Danielsen Co. preferred work methods at all times, and immediately advise supervisor of any unsafe conditions.
- Regular, reliable and predictable attendance required
- Ability to work well with others in a collaborative team environment
- Attend all required company meetings
- Additional duties required as needed
