Job Description:
We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in the transportation industry, specifically in hauling logs and lumber. As a driver with Herrera Freight Solutions, you will be responsible for safely transporting materials to various destinations, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and maintaining the condition of the vehicle.
Responsibilities:
Transport logs and lumber to designated locations.
Ensure all cargo is properly secured for transport.
Perform routine checks and maintenance on the vehicle.
Adhere to all safety protocols and traffic laws.
Maintain accurate delivery logs and records.
Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients.
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial driving, specifically with hauling logs and lumber.
CDL (Commercial Driver’s License).
Strong knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.
Ability to handle physically demanding work.
Reliable and punctual.
Good communication skills and a professional attitude.
