Kite Solutions LLC is a Chico based trucking company offering a diverse range of services to the surrounding community. We are currently looking for an immediate new hire for Dispatch/Trucking Manager. Local position to manage truck drivers running our Water Trucks, Dumps,/Walking Floors,/Low Beds & more. We mainly haul aggregates, debris, agricultural materials, water and stay local to the area. Starting pay is competitive and negotiable. A class A license is required. Double/triple and tanker endorsements, incident safety awareness for hired vendors card, low bed experience, and/or experience operating equipment is a plus.
Must have at least 5 yrs. experience in the trucking industry and a clean driving record.
Job Duties:
- Dispatch out daily to drivers and subhaulers
- Maintain schedule of dispatched trucks
- Shop inventory
- Create maintenance plans for trucks and equipment
- Logistical support
- Interact professionally with customers, coworkers, and supervisors
- Willing to jump in a truck if needed
- Operating vehicles and equipment in a safe and efficient manner
- Being punctual
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies while operating the truck
Qualifications:
- Valid Class A license with a clean driving record
- Resume Required
- Knowledge of proper loading and unloading techniques for different types of materials
- Previous experience operating heavy equipment is preferred
- Knowledge of construction, aggregates, agricultural, and estimating jobs
- Proficient with technology and communicating with drivers
- Permit knowledge along with licensing compliance
- Leadership experience
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
