100% Remote, Sr. Agile Scrum Master to join their team on a long-term contract basis.
Our client is looking for a tech-savvy Sr. Agile Scrum Master to organize, manage and drive project execution and support agile delivery as a part of their Decisioning as a Service Product Engineering team.
Responsibilities
Facilitate agile ceremonies, manage, and monitor progress, resolve roadblocks, and ensure the Definition of Done is being followed across multiple agile teams in various sizes
Create, align, and manage project plans, risks, and issues across multiple teams and/or organizations. Coordinate work and sprint planning around client migration schedules
Coach and lead teams toward stable velocity and produce and utilize available metrics to determine opportunities and drive action
Provide feedback to individual team members and stakeholders towards successfully meeting commitments and deliverables
Build strong relationships with stakeholders, Technical Product Owners, and other members outside the teams
Work closely with Technical Product Owners and Business Lead(s) to document scope, requirements, coordinate and manage cross-team dependencies, escalate risks and issues in a timely fashion to keep projects and deliverables on track
Provide thorough status updates and reports on project accomplishments in real-time to the team or key project stakeholders
Present project status, metrics, risks or concerns to stakeholders at all levels of the organization
Manage and maintain all pertinent documents related to projects and adhering to PM standards (requirements, RAID log, meeting minutes, project plans, JIRA initiatives, epics, stories, etc.)
Coordinate, manage and facilitate demos and production release(s) across multiple teams
Qualifications
Demonstrated experience leading complex, technical projects
Demonstrates analytical problem solving and decision-making skills
Demonstrates advanced knowledge and experience in Project and Program management
Demonstrates experience using the fundamentals of Agile development
Ability to interact professionally and confidently with colleagues at all levels, including senior and executive management
Demonstrates ability to recognize when Change Management will be required and implement appropriate strategy
Ability to work and practice Agile development with remote teams
Willing to work off hours as needed to accommodate time zone differences
Demonstrates advanced knowledge in IT software development (SDLC) methodologies and processes and advanced knowledge in project management tools (e.g., Jira, Microsoft Project, PowerPoint, Visio, RACI charts, Burndown Charts, RAID log)
Experience using Atlassian application suite (Confluence, JIRA) required
Experience working within a CI/CD pipeline environment desired
Experience with LeSS Framework desired
Experience with Amazon Web Services and cloud implementation
Education/Certification
Bachelor's degree and 7+ years professional experience in a software project management or related role is required.
Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Scrum Master (CSM), SAFe Program Consultant (SPC) or other Project Management/Agile certification preferred.
