Deep knowledge of Apple’s Physical and Motor assistive technologies

Experience writing technical bug reports and comprehensive test plan.

Experience using command line interface to collect logs and diagnose problems

Strong analytical and problem solving skills

DescriptionIn this role, you’ll be a hands-on tester on the Accessibility Quality & Livability team.You’ll test assistive technologies (new features during development and existing features after they ship) - such as Switch Control, Voice Control, Pointer Control, AssistiveTouch and Accessibility Keyboard. The ideal candidate is someone who is comfortable working in an exciting environment with rapidly changing priorities while leveraging user perspectives to shape our process and products. This team works closely with the accessibility development team, seed feedback team, AppleCare and other cross-functional teams across Apple’s platforms. Responsibilities include:

Testing our features from the perspective of an assistive technology user.

Leveraging user feedback to plan testing and shape our features.

Representing the team in technical and project meetings.

Partnering with project management, cross-functional partners, and the leadership team to inform our decision making.

Releasing quality software quickly and efficiently.

Education & ExperienceBS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.Additional RequirementsPay & Benefits

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $107,500 and $223,500, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
