Bay Systems Consulting is searching for an Identity and Access Management Programmer to work onsite at our client in Davis, CA. This position will develop a process for keeping the Identity Datastores synchronized, work on the IAM / Mothra / OnlineDirectory / Warnme / MatchMetrix databases to develop a process that can automatically copy production data to the Identity test (stage/test/dev) databases. Below are the high points of what we need.

Duration of project: 1 year – full-time

Remote: Work will be remote until eventually returning to the office. Candidate must live within commuting distance from Davis, CA

Work Authorization: Due to Federal contract, all candidates must be s or holders

Essential Responsibilities:
SYSTEM DESIGN/DEVELOPMENT
  • Design, develop, document, and implement application software, utilities, or client applications that support Application Development systems.
  • Analyze and document business application requirements and provide estimates of programming effort and durations on all assigned projects.
  • Write functional and detailed technical specifications for application code developed.
  • Establish and sustain a Quality Control capability that tests and fixes application bugs, and adheres to the software development methodology.
  • Participate in technical reviews of designs for code modifications or custom extensions to core applications that utilize Oracle RDBMS, Java, and SQL/PLUS.
  • Develop, execute, and evaluate system load tests when necessary.
  • Use advanced technologies such as J2EE, Spring Framework, UML, XML, and XSL.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications
  • Experience with systems analysis and data processing skills to translate manual operations to automated processes.
  • Experience with technologies such as client/server technologies, web technologies (XML/XSL/XSD, X/HTML, AJAX, JavaScript, CSS, Web services such as SOAP/WSDL, and Rest), distributed computing concepts, application development methodologies, and networking concepts.
  • Experience with the Java 2 Enterprise Edition Architecture (J2EE)
  • Experience with Oracle RDBMS or other complex relational database management systems and principles.
  • Experience using collaboration in designing effective databases, referential integrity, PLSQL, triggers, stored procedures, and SQL performance tuning. (Experience with a minimum of 1 database solutions: Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and DB2.)
  • Experience with application development methodologies in deploying technical solutions; utilizing other tools for design (Unified Modeling Language), application software version control and tracking (Git, Subversion), and code migration.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with a minimum of 1 application servers such as Tomcat, Apache, Jetty or Glassfish.
  • Experience with a minimum of 2 open-source frameworks and tools such as Eclipse, Spring, Struts, Hibernate, JSTL and JSF (as well as, MVC, JSP, Servlets. Log4j, JUnit)
  • Experience with standard programming techniques including analysis, requirements gathering, design, data collection and preparation, coding, and testing.
  • Experience using organization and analytical skills to assume general assignments, simultaneously work on multiple projects, work with competing priorities and deadlines, and independently follow projects through to completion.
  • Experience using open-source projects, technologies, and tools.
  • Experience with Linux and Windows server operating systems.
  • Skilled in building loosely-coupled, service-oriented distributed systems
  • Skilled in use of software packaging and release management processes; including utilizing issue tracking, release tracking, continuous integration, and build artifact repository systems (e.g. Jira, Bamboo, Maven)
