LVN - School Health Office and 1-on-1 Position (Full-Time/Part-Time) Pay Range: 30-35 Job Description: Maxim Healthcare Staffing is currently seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) for a full-time position in the Glendale Unified School District. This exciting opportunity involves working in a school setting, providing health office support and one-on-one care to students. Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive healthcare services to students in the school setting Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers Perform health assessments and screenings Monitor and document student health records, including immunizations and health histories Collaborate with school staff, parents, and healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized healthcare plans Respond to medical emergencies and provide appropriate first aid as needed Educate students, staff, and parents on health-related topics Maintain a clean and organized health office Qualifications: Valid LVN license in the state of California Previous experience in pediatric or school nursing preferred Strong assessment and documentation skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Current CPR certification Ability to handle confidential information with discretion Schedule and Compensation: Full-time position, Monday through Friday, during school hours Hourly pay range: $30-$35 per hour (depending on experience and qualifications) How to Apply: If you are a dedicated LVN seeking a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on students' health and well-being in the Glendale Unified School District , we would love to hear from you!
