Description Robert Half is a seeking a Purchasing Specialist for a position in El Segundo, CA!TASKS, DUTIES, & GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES Maintains purchasing email by responding to employee inquiries and receiving requisitions. Issues new purchase orders within compliance. Creates updated purchases orders by original requestor or supervisor inquiry. Closes purchase orders by original requestor or supervisor inquiry. Research and audits open purchase order report weekly to maintain and close orders as needed. Completes credit applications and tax exemption forms for signature and approval. Run preliminary report data for supervisor monthly and quarterly reporting. Maintain vendor maintenance. Credit card reconciliations via Concur. Assist with 1099 process. Special projects and additional duties as assigned.Supervisory Duties (if applicable)● NoneRequirements QUALIFICATIONS Associate degree in accounting is preferred, or equivalent work experience. 2-5 years of Accounts Payable experience. 2-5 years of experience using an ERP system and Microsoft Excel and Word preferred. Excellent attention to detail and multi-tasking ability. Excellent critical thinking, verbal and written communication skills. Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
