You will take vital signs, updatemedical histories and prepare patients for examinations. Our MA2 will managepatient flow and set up examination rooms, ensuring efficiency and readinessfor appointments. Additionally, you will communicate important clinicalinformation, serve as patient advocates and handle designated clinical caretelephone interactions.Salary Range:$22.65 - $29.92 HourlyQualifications
Medical Assistant Diploma/Certificate from a secondary, post secondary or adult education program - Required
BLS certificate from American Heart Association or American Red Cross - required
At least 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant within a large healthcare system - preferred
Familiarity with EPIC (EHR/EMR system) - preferred
Ability to obtain accurate vital signs
Knowledge of normal and abnormal symptomatology and life-threatening medical problems
Strong interpersonal skills to interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals with compassion
