Description:Customer service representative working in a call center environmentHandling inbound calls and some follow up callsAnswers calls and questions on prior authorization, general questions and some confidential informationGreat customer service with high level attention to detail. Entering information accuratelyMeasured on Quality and Accuracy might range from 50-100 calls a day depending on complexity.Utilize multiple systems and programs to track information and update communication with customersSkills:PBM, Healthcare, customer service, medicare, call center, metrics, inbound, medical, doctor, physician, pharmacyTop Skills Details:PBM, Healthcare, customer service, medicare, call center, metrics, inbound, medical, doctor, physician, pharmacyAdditional Skills & Qualifications:Call center or customer service experience + medical education (but no medical experience). Rockstar candidates with customer service experience in a retail or restaurant setting that have a strong desire to work within healthcare. Healthcare/PharmacyGOOD (Transferable Skills):Computer and Technical Skills- (IT, BestBuy, phone and cable companies) Candidates must show through work history and Typing Skills that this candidate is comfortable navigating multiple systems and able to type fast at the same time.Tenure- MedImpact wants people to stay long term. Any “hopping around”, inconsistent work trajectory, gaps that don’t make sense (Good-COVID, relocation, birth of child, etc.) will suggest to MedImpact that the candidate will likely not stay.Reliability- MedImpact likes work history that suggests they had to be on time consistently.Fast paced work environment- Able to multitask and work quickly and efficiently (office).Leadership and professionalism- Has been promoted to a leadership position and shows a level of success in the role.Customer Service- Was worked in a CS role and dealt with difficult situations.Medical Admins: This seems to be the “sweet spot” of medical knowledge, customer service, computers and fast paced environment. Nice to have:Recent school- MedImpact believes people that have recent school are more likely to be tech savvy. They also seem to like people that are able to balance work and school simultaneously.Public speakingMeeting deadlinesCall Center experience- This is a tricky one because they go back and forth here but overall you can’t argue the skills transfer here.BAD (No Go):Patient care CNAs, MAs and Phlebotomists are a no. The environments are too different.
