Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk in Fontana, California. The role will involve managing the full accounts payable process and contributing to our accounting team. You will be working in the air conditioning industry, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and compliance in our financial operations.Responsibilities: Oversee the entire accounts payable process from invoice entry to payment. This includes matching, batching, and coding invoices. Build and maintain detail oriented relationships with vendors. Handle any invoice or payment discrepancies and manage vendor communication. Regularly analyze, reconcile, and manage the accounts payable ledger. Ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with relevant policies and regulations. Collaborate with other departments to streamline the purchasing and expense approval processes. Conduct month-end closing procedures, which include preparing and posting journal entries and account reconciliations. Maintain and update detailed spreadsheets in Excel to track various financial data and generate reports. Support the broader finance team by assisting in tasks such as budget preparation and financial audits. Utilize software such as Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP for various accounting tasks. Employ skills such as Account Reconciliation, Accounts Payable (AP), Check Runs, Coding Invoices, and Data Entry in daily tasks. Requirements Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) Experience with Account Reconciliation Familiarity with Check Runs Proficiency in Coding Invoices Strong Data Entry skills Proficient in Invoice Processing Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel Knowledge of Oracle Experience in QuickBooks Knowledge and experience in SAP Able to maintain confidentiality Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines Strong problem-solving skills High level of integrity and reliability Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is preferred Previous experience in an accounts payable role is advantageous.
