Description We are in search of a Controller to join our team in Fontana, California. This role involves overseeing all accounting operations within our industry, managing different aspects of accounts and ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements.Responsibilities: Oversee and manage all accounting operations, ensuring accurate and efficient processes. Maintain responsibility for Billing, Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payables, Cost Accounting and Job Costing, Inventory Accounting, and Revenue Recognition. Regularly complete financial analysis, extracting data, and generating reports from the company ERP system. Identify accounting and financial issues and suggest timely solutions. Lead the month-end and year-end close process, ensuring all financial transactions and reports are accurate. Manage the budgeting and forecasting framework, coordinating the preparation of regulatory reporting. Develop and adhere to internal accounting policies and procedures. Communicate with team members to maintain and improve accounting processes. Manage the payroll process, ensuring all employees are paid accurately and on time. Oversee the cash flow process, ensuring the company's financial health. Requirements Must possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in a Controller role or similar Proficiency in Full Cycle Accounting is required Experience in the Manufacturing industry is essential Must have a strong understanding of Billing processes Familiarity with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) is mandatory Knowledge in Costing and Inventory Analysis is required Experience with Revenue Recognition is a must Proficiency in using General Ledger, Financial Analysis, and General Journal is necessary Must have experience in Balance Sheet Reconciliation and Journal Entries Familiarity with Full Cycle Payroll is necessary Experience in Month End Close procedures is mandatory Must be skilled in Financial Statement Preparation Must possess strong communication and interpersonal skills Must have strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Must have a high level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation Knowledge of current financial regulations and standards is required Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite and financial reporting software Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
