Description We are seeking a Staff Accountant for our team located in Fountain Valley, California. This role involves managing the finance and accounting functions, primarily focusing on Accounts Receivable tasks for three subsidiaries in the healthcare industry. The position offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity and will report to the Controller.Responsibilities: Manage the Accounts Receivable tasks for three subsidiaries in the healthcare industry. Maintain and reconcile multiple bank and credit card accounts. Assist with month-end close and journal entries. Record and compile deposit logs weekly, ensuring synchrony between deposits in the bank and payments in Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems. Interface with 3rd Party Billers to ensure the accuracy of deposits and payments. Monitor backlog in EMR and work with 3rd Party Billers to review Accounts Receivable Aging and Collections. Collaborate with Operations to ensure that Payor agreements are updated and transitioned to the new company name. Use NetSuite for recording deposits and other accounting tasks. Utilize skills in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) to ensure accurate and efficient processing. Use accounting software such as Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP for various tasks. Requirements Must have proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) Experience with Bank Reconciliations is necessary Familiarity with General Ledger and Journal Entries is required Must have experience with Month End Close procedures Proficiency in using NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP is crucial A degree in Accounting or a related field is preferred Excellent communication and organizational skills are necessary Must have strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team is required Must have the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
