Description We are seeking an efficient, detail-oriented Tax Administrator to join our financial team. The Tax Administrator will have the responsibility of assisting in managing tax compliance, tax accounting, various types of tax returns and audits along with other financial tasks. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, exceptional problem-solving abilities, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation and filing of all federal, state, and local income tax returns.
Contribute to the assessment, detection, and resolution of discrepancies in tax reports.
Support in the research and adoption of appropriate tax strategies.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of ongoing changes to tax regulations and policies.
Collaborate with accounting personnel for account reconciliation.
Ensure compliance with taxation laws.
Assist with internal and external auditing.
Carry out ad-hoc tasks as required by the team supervisor.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
Prior experience in a similar role is desirable.
Ability to multitask and prioritize work to meet deadlines.
Excellent numeracy skills with an exceptional attention to detail.
Strong knowledge of finance laws, corporate tax issues and taxation.
Proficient in MS Office.
Pluses:
Knowledge of Lacerte tax software.
Mandarin speaking is a plus.
