Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will bring at least 5 years of accounting experience and play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting reporting requirements, and improving departmental efficiency. This position is also crucial in helping us integrate new accounting techniques, systems, and software to streamline processes and strengthen our financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
Help prepare and maintain accurate general ledger entries, reconciliations, and financial records.
Assist in month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timeliness and accuracy.
Support preparation of financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
Help review accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll entries.
Ensure compliance with GAAP, company policies, and applicable regulations.
Collaborate with management to improve accounting processes and implement new tools or automation systems.
Assist with audits, tax filings, and internal financial reviews.
Analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, or opportunities for improvement.
Maintain confidentiality and data integrity at all times.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or manufacturing environment.
CPA or CMA certification preferred (but not required).
Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles.
Proficiency in Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, or similar).
Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
Proven ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
Interest in process improvement and system integration.
